About

CALPAC which is the acronym for Central Association London Provincial Angling Clubs was formed in 1879.

Originally formed to enable other angling clubs to fish waters otherwise unavailable to them. This was achieved by money being raised through associate membership. These funds were used to bid for fishing rights on lakes and rivers as they came up for sale. Calpac has now evolved into so much more than it was in 1879, but it has never lost it’s original ethos of ‘providing angling for all’.
