I hope you all agree that this was a good use of a Fisheries Improvement Programme grant we received.I want our Manor Pond fishery to be easily accessible for all. The laying of this matting will hopefully make the long trudge from the car park, much less of a chore.Tight lines everyone 🎣

Early season cut at our river Mole fishery in Cobham today, prior to the pre-season cut in June. The river looked in fantastic condition, and many of the large snags have been washed through in the winter floods. Everything bodes well for a good start to the season on the 16th June.

Another visit to Padworth with the brush cutters, and  saws today. This time with help from Ken, Steve, and Mick. The whole stretch of river has now had a complete makeover. That’s the last session with the brush cutter this week. Today’s fishery that received the haircut was our Yalding Two fishery on the rivers Medway and Beult. This should make the pre-season work much easier in June. It’s another fishery in CALPAC’S portfolio, which offers so much to the members
